Rod Lathe Accessories

Renzetti offers many accessories designed to enhance the rod building experience.

The Head Stock pulley is included with the Craftman's Rod lathe and it is also available for sale. It is a step pulley with a 5/8 bore and 3 grooves to the pulley and each one give  a different RMP. The Head Stock pulley is designed to work with the Motor pulley we offer. 

The 3 Jaw Chuck is another accessory, it is a 3 jaw 3/4 -10 mounting thread self centering scroll chuck.

The Drilling Tail Stock allows you to drill small part such as cork, plastic, wood or other materials. It is also used for center drilling work and with the live center tail stock. It has a 1" travel and it comes with a 3/8" chuck and complete instructions. Chuck and tail stock included. Assembly required

Live Center Tail Stock, a necessary tool when ridged support is needed on the opposite end of a work piece, such as a piece of blank or a mandrel when shaping custom grip or cork. The 60 degree center is mounted on two precision ball bearings for smooth operation. Comes with instructions.

Tool Rest. Another versatile tool for supporting cutting tools when cutting or shaping work, marking centerlines and a variety of other uses. Comes with assembling instructions.

 "Stumpe" Heavy Duty Counter Weight. John Stumpe is a skilled rod builder from Melbourne, Florida that has been building rods for decades. This accessory was designed with his input and based on his needs. Designed to eliminate the out of balance effect, caused by heavy guides. Use it to balance your rod by placing 180 degrees from the guides.

Tool Tray. A tray design to keep you organized and more productive. The Renzetti Tool Tray sits on the bed of the lathe and slide along the bed extension as you work on each section of the rod. 

Large Bore Jaw. Needing a large bore to hold? The Large Bore Jaw replaces the standard jaws on the chuck with a max. opening of 1-5/8" dia.
